Niños Global Tech is proud to announce that our Virtual Learning Environment will be officially launching on April 1st. Our VLE is a convenient way for parents, students and teachers to communicate; keeping parents engaged and connected to their child’s school life. By using the virtual learning environment, schools can save time by having all the necessary tools to communicate with today’s parents in one easy-to-use app.

The Virtual Learning Environment for Schools

Using the ‘My School’ function, schools can easily access information such as teachers’ and parents’ contact details, emergency contacts and allergy information, all in one place. Schools can keep teachers, parents and students updated with notices and newsletters by using the ‘Messages’ and ‘Documents’ functions, as well as manage events such as PTA meetings and excursions via the portal. Furthermore, schools can save money on printing costs by sending digital invoices through the app.
To personalise the VLE experience, schools can upload their logo and share image and video updates with other users. With a high level of control, the school administrator will also be able to set up classes and get an overview of the school’s VLE activity.

VLE Features for Teachers

Teachers using the Niños’ Virtual Learning Environment will be able to run their class admin effortlessly. Setting and monitoring homework, communicating with students and parents and organising or participating in school events will be a breeze with reduced time and paperwork.
The ‘My Class’ section allows teachers to get to know their students and find key details such as parent contact details quickly. Teachers will also be able to share important documents like report cards with parents to ensure they are always kept up to date.

The VLE for Parents

With Multiple Student Accounts, our Virtual Learning Environment will provide parents with a neat way to manage and stay up to date with each child’s education in one centralized dashboard. Parents can view their children’s attendance records, access receipts and invoices from the school, view school reports and receive key information and event reminders from one easy to use app.
Importantly, parents will receive timely reminders about homework deadlines and can monitor the progress of their children’s homework. They will also be able to approve who their children are connecting and chatting with on the VLE and can monitor their interactions to keep them safe. The ‘Chat’ functionality also allows teachers and parents to connect and stay up to date outside of school hours.

The Virtual Learning Environment for Students

Students can use the VLE to keep on top of their school work, with access to resources such as a dictionary and language apps. With their parents’ approval, students will be able to add friends and chat to their peers as well as their teacher and parents through the app. Students can also personalise their profile by adding a picture.

Niños’ Virtual Learning Environment is launching this Spring and to celebrate we’re giving away a 14-day free, no obligation trial for schools! Currently available as an app for tablet only, the mobile version will be available shortly, however all the features are still accessible via the web portal.
